1. Whimsical Days

Hold on to the rail we’re going down a difficult trail
I’m carrying a large clock in my hand but I don’t understand
Then I fall into a stormy sea as you toss a line out and rescue me
I ask you what’s going on and you reply, “You must be dreaming?”

How did it ever get so freaking strange?
With increasing obstacles for any change

Colliding viewpoints
Only make things worse
The voice of reason buried deep within

Everywhere apathy and delusion
Overwhelmed by confusion

By gone ways of Whimsical Days
They were carefree to know
They can return if we are to learn from those
Whimsical Days
